The Wildland Journal is written to provide a constantly updating resource of news not just about developments across our own holdings but also articles more generally interesting which we think you will find fascinating too.

The following also provides a more focused snapshot of our proposed development activities and current planning applications. This listing is being maintained to offer a first point of contact for details about Wildland’s specific developments, the broader restoration of our estates and the many contributions we have made to the communities that are our neighbours. A more complete listing is detailed on the following page which you can link to here.

Wildland is all about bringing life back to the Scottish Highlands. It’s not a secret place, it’s a place to be shared, a place we wish to thrive, and a place to inspire others just as we have been inspired ourselves.

Planning & Community Engagement

This list will be updated over time and maintains a record and access point for those wanting to see the work done at Wildland.

A record of the planning applications made by Wildland ltd and Aldourie Castle Ltd. All our planning applications, listed building applications, etc are made to Highland Council. The planning application references here are from Highland Council and if entered into their web site search facility will take you to drawings, reports and assessments stored on the Highland Council Planning Portal.

A few of the applications will have been in the Cairngorm National Park Area and the CNPA have call-in powers for some of the planning applications. The Highland Council Planning Portal will indicate if the detailed record of the decision making is to be found at the CNPA website.
