Walking in Nature - Highland Climate Festival

Walking in nature is good for the soul. It enables you to destress and refocus. It is calming and gives you the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the world around you. Nature of full of life, colour, sound and vibrance. We at Wildland are thankful for the wonders of nature that surround us and we appreciate it in all its forms.

Our first public guided nature walk on Sunday 26th June, held as part of the Highland Climate Festival, on the Kinloch Estate gave us the opportunity to share with others some of the wonderful beauty that surrounds us. It brings us much joy to share our passions for nature with like minded others and we are thankful to everyone who came along to join us in support of the event.

The Highland Climate Festival is about celebrating, engaging and raising awareness in our communities throughout the region in climate action. The festival celebrates some of the fantastic work already underway and furthermore engages new activities with new audiences from undertaking simple actions to sharing more significant work through a series of local in person and regional online events.

We are delighted to share some memories captured on the day.

“If one way be better than another, that you may be sure is nature’s way.”
