About Hope
Hope is WildLand’s hotel and exclusive-use property set within the vast coastal landscapes of Sutherland, where nature is being carefully restored and protected for the long term. More than a place to stay, Hope introduces a new expression of Highland hospitality — immersive, conservation-led, and deeply connected to the land.
Centred around a historic hunting lodge, Hope has been thoughtfully reimagined as an intimate hotel and exclusive-use retreat. The experience includes a collection of restored cottages and, at its heart, a welcoming communal gathering place known as the Clachan.
From the restored lodge, guests enjoy an inclusive stay where every detail is considered: daily guided adventures, wellness rituals, thoughtfully prepared food and drink, and access to facilities and equipment that encourage full immersion in the landscape. Each visit is shaped by the seasons, the terrain, and the people who live and work there — all guided by deep respect for the cultural, historical and environmental heritage of the Highlands.
