Killiehuntly Farmhouse
Your journey, shaped by shared experiences in the great outdoors accompanied by good food and great company, begins in a wide-open glen, setting the tone for the days ahead. Perfect for families or friends travelling together, you’ll start your Highland exploration at Killiehuntly Farmhouse.
Spend your time exploring the Cairngorms by e-bike, following quiet tracks that rise gently through the glen and open to views of ancient Caledonian woodland and distant peaks. Join a conservation walk with our nature team – a thoughtful way to connect with the place beyond its beauty. Distilleries, castles and heritage sites are all within easy reach, giving your group the option to tailor each day.
Evenings at Killiehuntly are unhurried: after the sun sets, head to the sauna yurt for a relaxing and grounding finale to the day. Supper is served in the farmhouse around a shared table, sampling seasonal menus and enjoying communal conversations.
Lundies House
Travelling north, the landscape opens into vast moorland, dramatic peaks and big skies. Lundies House sits at the edge of it all – calm, welcoming and beautifully designed. Your days here can be as energetic or as restful as you wish. For those drawn to wildlife, join a bird-watching outing with the chance of spotting golden eagles soaring across the ridgelines. For cold-water enthusiasts, pack hot chocolate and dry robes and head for the coastline: empty beaches, fresh salt air and a bracing swim in the North Sea.
Walkers may choose to hike towards Ben Hope, Scotland’s most northerly monro, via hidden waterfalls that gush with pristine water. For the ultimate reset, book a body treatment with our resident therapist back at Lundies House and let any residual tension be soothed away.
Evenings return you to the soft light of the dining room, where supper is served with thoughtful care and a focus on authentic tastes and seasonal ingredients.
