Our Regions

Much is said about the restorative power of nature. For our team at WildLand, this isn’t so much a clever tagline, but a way of life. Each of our regions hold a collection of small, beautiful places to stay, allowing you to explore the wild landscape around us – from our art house on the northern coast to cosy cottages nestled among ancient forests.

The Cairngorms

Discover the hidden depths and wide open spaces of the Cairngorms National Park where the forests, mountains and lochs beckon you in, inviting you to explore further.

Loch Ness

Stand on the shores of this vast yet intimate freshwater loch and feel a humbling sense of awe. Encircled by intrigue, Loch Ness’ peaty depths and surrounding landscapes are as captivating as its folklore.

Sutherland

Stay on the Highland’s far north coast and be surrounded by forests, rivers, lochs and mountains. A wild place that calls out to be experienced: plunge into cold waters, fish rivers and roam mountain landscapes.

Journeys

Our journeys unfurl across Scotland’s wildest areas, where guests can combine multiple regions and WildLand stays into one enriching adventure. Travel through the Cairngorms, Loch Ness and Sutherland, staying in wee guesthouses, nature-encircled bothies, homely farmhouses and lodges, and the grandeur of a castle by Loch Ness.

Notes from the Wild

At WildLand, one of our great joys is sharing the arresting beauty and vibrancy of the  Scottish Highlands with you. Browse our observations from the wild.
