Our Food

Geordie’s Cottage is offered on a self-catering basis only. That gives you the freedom to cook whatever you like during your stay, or contact a third party caterer if you wish. We have stocked the kitchen with some good staples, including salt & pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee, milk and some lovely, welcome treats.

Things to do

Geordie’s cottage is a wonderful basecamp for wild adventures. It overlooks the Cairngorm National Park towards Kingussie, and sits at the heart of an extensive conservation area punctuated by ancient forests, rolling mountains and secluded lochs. It is a house with nature at its heart.

Geordie’s Cottage sits in a secluded corner of the Killiehuntly Estate, surrounded by paths that lead straight into the Cairngorms. Spend slow days wandering forest tracks, climbing nearby hills or dipping into clear stretches of the River Feshie. Visit Ruthven Barracks or Loch an Eilein for a touch of Highland history, then explore local galleries, farm shops and cafés.
