Your Space
Strathmore Cottage is a self-catered property for up to six people. The Lodge has three double bedrooms with wonderful new beds and a bathroom with a handheld shower and bathtub.
There is a cosy living room with an original Morsoe cast-iron fireplace and a lovely kitchen that is the natural centre of the house, complete with an Raeburn stove. On the original wood cladding walls hangs a collection of vintage posters with drawings from the 1920s and 1930 when the Lodge was build.

Our cottages are family-friendly, and we are happy to provide a cot and a high chair if you wish.
Cottage Details
Strathmore is an off-grid cottage with limited cell phone coverage, and is accessed down a small single track road.
The cottage sleeps 6 guests across two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. There is a shared cottage bathroom and a second separate WC. There is a sitting room and separate kitchen with a Raeburn stove. Outdoors is a private garden and parking.

What amenities are offered at Strathmore Cottage?
In the cottage you’ll find:
Basic kitchen provisions of toilet paper, dishwasher tablets and soap will be in your cottage for arrival as well as some larder provisions to get you started – tea, coffee, milk, bread, jam, yoghurt, oil, salt and pepper.
All bedlinen and towels are included, plus toiletries including shower wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
The kitchen has a dishwasher.
Booking Details & Costs
The cottage costs from £300 per night, with a minimum stay of three nights on a self-catering basis.

This cottage is Dog Friendly – please do let us know if you plan on bringing your dog.
You can enjoy your cottage from 4pm on the day of arrival. We kindly ask that you depart by 10am on your final day.
